Introduction

I took over the family budget in the Fall of 2008 and spent a lot of time researching budgeting options, software, etc. Since then I've been working on keeping us in budget, living a cash based life. :) I've also been in perpetual editing mode on the excel spreadsheet that I use for maintaining our family budget, and enjoying it.

I plan to update this blog with anything that I think will help us spend less, keep us in budget or things that I think will help my friends.
